Corona has changed (working) life quite a bit for all of us. In order to give your students a comprehensive all-round view of our company, we offer you our virtual alternative.

Girls' & Boys' Day offers girls and boys of all ages the chance to take a look behind the scenes at the BAUR-Group for a day.
In addition to general information about training opportunities at the BAUR-Group, they can also try their hand at practical tasks and pick up the tools themselves. We want to give them a chance to get an idea of different professions that are atypical for women and men in a short space of time and to discover their own interests.

As part of a one-day event, we advise students in their final years of school in both group and individual coaching sessions on the development of their application activities. By submitting a personal application portfolio and talking about their future career, the young people receive feedback on their strengths and weaknesses outside of school, as well as support for further application activities.

We also show the students how various tasks are carried out in a typical BAUR-Group assessment center, what is behind it, what applicants need to consider and even practice a fictitious job interview. This way, your students will be optimally prepared when it comes to applying for an apprenticeship or dual study program and standing out from other applicants.

As we are unfortunately unable to offer on-site applicant training at the moment due to coronavirus, you have the option of doing this online with your students. You can find all information on this under Teacher in online mode - Online Applicant Training.

Would you like your pupils to gain a first insight into the world of work?
We are happy to offer young, motivated people the opportunity to complete internships in our company. Whether it's a school internship, voluntary taster internship or FOS internship - throughout the year, interested pupils can gain an exciting insight into a wide range of professions in the BAUR-Group.

At the moment, our opportunities for internships are unfortunately very limited due to the current hygiene regulations and the increased work in the Anywhere Office. Therefore, we have developed various alternatives to inform your students virtually (see BAUR-Group 360° or similar).

We and our trainees are out and about at many training and study fairs and events. You can meet us in person or online at these events and talk to us. Of course, we strictly adhere to the current hygiene regulations.

For more digital know-how in schools!
Our colleagues at the Otto Group have developed a digital education program for teachers in cooperation with the Hamburg Education Authority and the Hamburg State Institute for Teacher Training and School Development. With learning paths around digitalization, you can get an overview of what is in our digital world and what is to come. The learning units are clearly delineated and are updated on an ongoing basis.
