Two top places - success in training and studies!

On 02.12.2025, there were two special occasions that show how strongly talent development is practiced at BAUR.
Bavaria's best trainees honored at Banz Monastery
The twelve best trainees in Bavaria were honored in the festive Kaisersaal of Kloster Banz - young people who completed their training as the very best in the entire state.
Among them: Fabian Gaudig, who was honored as the best businessman in e-commerce in Bavaria. We were thus able to successfully defend our title, after Paula Radler had already held the top position in the previous year.
In total, around 50,000 trainees in around 200 professions took part in the IHK examinations.
Such successes are no coincidence. For everything to come together, you need trainees who enjoy their training, training departments with dedicated training officers and colleagues who enable our junior staff to learn, see, try out, be challenged and encouraged.
And, of course, the vocational school is also part of this - with motivated teachers who enjoy their work and show a level of commitment that is well above average.
A look at the IHK's examination statistics underlines this impressively: in the summer 2025 final examination for e-commerce clerks, the average total score in Bayreuth was 88 points, compared to 82 points for Bavaria as a whole and 79 points nationwide. The distribution of grades also speaks for itself: 44% achieved a grade 1 in Bayreuth, compared to 19% in Bavaria and just 17% nationwide. These figures show how strong the quality of training is in our region - and how well our trainees perform.
For BAUR, it should be noted that for years - since the first survey in 2009 - we have regularly produced trainees as Bavarian and even German winners in a wide variety of training occupations. So there is a lot to learn here, and many take this opportunity for themselves.
Honored at the Hof University of Applied Sciences
But that's not all: the top 10% of Bachelor's and Master's students were also honored at Hof University of Applied Sciences on 02.12.2025. The so-called "Dean's List" includes students with outstanding achievements in their studies to date - a valuable reference for their professional future.
Fabian Gaudig (yes, two awards in one day!) and Shania Rießner were honored here. A strong sign of the combination of practice and theory that we live by.
