Stream cleaning 2025

Once again this year, the BAUR Group's trainees and dual students have been hard at work. Here you can find out how this year's stream cleaning went.
Everyone knows that environmental protection is important. But hand on heart: doesn't everyone know the image of garbage lying around everywhere in nature? Unfortunately, Weismain is no exception. So it's all the better that our trainees and dual students were at the start again this year and cleaned up properly during the traditional stream cleaning!
Gloves on, bin bags packed: off we go!
After the date of the annual stream clean-up in October had to be postponed due to the weather, the time had finally come on November 8, 2025. A group of around 36 trainees and dual students from the BAUR Group set out to clear the Weismain of the garbage lying around.
Well equipped with gloves, bin bags and tongs, the participants were divided into groups and made their way to their assigned sections.
Fortunately, there was less garbage at the various stations than in previous years, but there was still a lot to collect.
In total, the group filled 12 garbage bags and also fished the old parts of a scooter out of the river.
A reward is a must
Perfect for warming up again and rounding off the successful event.
And always remember: everyone can make a small contribution to environmental protection in their everyday life, for example by collecting garbage lying around on their regular walks.
And even more importantly: don't throw garbage into the beautiful countryside in the first place!
