Trainee programs explained

Are you ready for the next step in your professional future? A trainee program could be the perfect opportunity for you! How is such a program structured and what benefits can you expect? Find out everything you need to know about this exciting opportunity in our blog post. 🚀

First of all, what exactly is a trainee program? 🤔

Trainee programs are aimed specifically at graduates and usually last between six months and two years. They are designed to give participants a comprehensive understanding of the company and its various business areas. Trainees often move between different departments or projects to gain a variety of experience and expand their skills. 📚

The content of a trainee program can vary greatly. They often include workshops, training courses and seminars with the aim of strengthening both technical and interdisciplinary skills. In addition to imparting technical knowledge, the development of soft skills such as communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills is often an important component. In addition, many programs offer the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced mentors who provide trainees with valuable feedback and support. 🤝

Nevertheless, there are no generally binding guidelines for trainee programs. This means that every company can have an individual program in terms of learning content, duration or even career prospects.

The duration of both trainee programs is 18 months. We focus on actively involving employees in work processes, which means that you will be able to work independently on topics and projects and take on responsibility from the outset.

To ensure this, it is important to us that you already have practical experience in controlling tasks or compliance departments. Whether through internships, working student activities or training - you should already have solid experience in the relevant area. 📝

For the trainee position in Planning & Controlling, you will be actively involved in the areas of controlling, including trade controlling, investment controlling and sales controlling.
As a Risk Management & Compliance trainee, you will provide support in internal auditing, risk management and various compliance topics.

Correspondingly important for both tasks are

  • Flexibility 🔄
  • Communication and cooperation skills 🤝
  • Willingness to learn 📖
  • Development of holistic knowledge 🧠
  • Very good analytical skills 📈
  • Ability to work in a team 👥

Our aim is to take on the comprehensively trained trainees in specialist roles such as controller or auditor after 18 months.
