The radio station RadioEins from Coburg recently visited our mechatronics technicians in Altenkunstadt. You can find out what it was all about and what our employees said in the radio interview here.
Nadine and Katharina (both mechatronics technicians for systems engineering), André (shift manager), Nico (group leader) and Wolfgang gave exciting insights into the tasks of a mechatronics technician, the working atmosphere in our company and the application process in the interview.
The whole interview was broadcast on RadioEins on May 11. Did you miss it or would you like to hear the interview again? No problem, because in this article you can still play all the recordings and get further insights behind the scenes of the special broadcast.
Nadine, Katharina, André and Nico are working at the Altenkunstadt site. Baur Hermes Fulfilment (BHF) is currently building one of the largest shuttle warehouses in Europe there, whose highly automated systems have to be maintained by mechatronics engineers during operation. The BAUR Group is still looking for active support for this.
Group leader Nico tells you what tasks await the mechatronics technicians in the shuttle warehouse and what new jobs will be created by the project. Wolfgang also tells you some interesting facts about the new building.
Nadine and André have been working in plant engineering at BAUR for several years. Their tasks include monitoring and troubleshooting technical systems, such as conveyor technology or sorting machines. The best way to find out how varied the tasks of mechatronics technicians for operating and automation technology (m/f/d) are is to listen to Nadine and André themselves:
As Group Manager, Nico is responsible for all plant operations at the Altenkunstadt, Sonnefeld and Weismain sites. In this interview, Nico explains what his day-to-day work is like and what makes his job so special.
Katharina has only been working as a mechatronics technician at the BAUR Group for a few months. In the following audio recording, Katharina explains why she came to plant engineering as a trained automotive mechatronics technician, how she experienced the application process and what the first few weeks in her new working life were like.
