What has only become a focus for many companies in recent years is a matter of course for us: The topic of Diversity is firmly anchored in the BAUR Group. Here we give you an insight into what diversity means and how we live it.
Thanks to our founder Friedrich Baur, diversity and inclusion have existed in the BAUR Group from the very beginning. In his actions, he always took responsibility for employees, people, the region and society. He therefore gave the foundation named after him a clear mission: commitment in charitable and social areas, in medical research, in art and culture.
Our goal for the future is to be even more mindful of this diversity and to use it in all its dimensions for our benefit. These values are also reflected in our BAUR Group mission statement with the pillars "Tradition" and "Mindfulness".
Everyone is different, has different needs, different goals - this applies not only to our customers, but also to our employees. As a member of the Otto Group, the BAUR Group has therefore been a signatory to the Diversity Charter since 2012. It has thus declared its commitment to actively promoting diversity and cultivating a culture characterized by mutual respect and appreciation.
In concrete terms, this means being open to colleagues with different backgrounds - regardless of age, social background, ethnic origin & nationality, gender, physical and mental abilities, sexual identity and religion & belief - both when filling vacancies and in day-to-day collaboration.
