Not every career path is straightforward—and that's perfectly okay. Retraining gives you the opportunity to reorient yourself and take a different path.
Retraining is possible in all of the apprenticeship professions we offer and lasts two years. You will be a full member of the trainee team, attend vocational school, and gain practical experience in the company.
Anyone who has already started an apprenticeship can complete retraining, regardless of age. The most important thing is the motivation to try something new. 💪

In the dual study program "Business Administration with Integrated Training in E-Commerce," you combine practical training with a solid business administration degree at Hof University of Applied Sciences. 🧑‍💻🎓
In the first year, you will begin training as an e-commerce clerk before moving on to the seven-semester degree program. Halfway through your studies, you will take the final exam at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, while deepening your practical experience with us during a practical semester. Your bachelor's thesis will conclude your studies and build on content from both theory and practice.
During your training, you will get to know various areas of the company, including category management, logistics, controlling, marketing, and human resources. The coordinated combination of practical tasks and academic study content will give you comprehensive insight into business management processes and digital retail processes.
The entire program lasts four and a half years: one year of in-company training with vocational school blocks in Lichtenfels and three and a half years of study with several theory and one practical phase at Hof University of Applied Sciences.

In the dual study program "Digital Business," you will first start with a one-year training program to become an e-commerce clerk. 🧑‍💻 You will then move on to Hof University, where you will study business administration for seven semesters. Halfway through your studies, you will take the IHK final exam – and during your practical semester at the BAUR Group, you will be able to apply what you have learned directly. At the end, you will complete your studies with a bachelor's thesis that closely combines theory and practice.
During your time at the company, you will gain insights into many different areas: Customer & Sales, Finance, Trade & Marketplace, Human Resources, Planning & Controlling, and Shop & Content. This will give you a good overall picture of digital commerce and its processes, step by step. 🎓
The program lasts a total of four and a half years: one year of training with vocational school blocks in Lichtenfels and three and a half years of study with alternating theory and practical phases at Hof University of Applied Sciences.

Alternating between three-month theory and practice phases, you will study at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Ravensburg and work with us at our Weismain location in a hybrid model.
During your studies, you will focus intensively on analyzing large amounts of data, interpreting information, and deriving meaningful recommendations for business processes. In addition to classic methods of information management, you will learn about modern data analysis and AI techniques.
During your practical training, you will gain insights into various areas of application such as business applications, logistics applications, infrastructure, BI & analytics, and user research. 🎓

Start your professional career with a focus on business engineering. 💼💻 You will begin with a dual study program at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Ravensburg and alternate between theory and practice at our company in Weismain every three months.

During the practical phases, you will learn about the diverse areas of information management and work as a budding business IT specialist on processes in e-commerce, logistics, or various sales systems. You will coordinate between IT specialists and users and combine technical requirements with commercial goals.

During the three years, you will work in areas such as business applications, logistics applications, infrastructure, and BI & analytics. At the hybrid location in Weismain, you will also benefit from flexible working models. 🎓
