Employees of the BAUR Group have had the privilege of working from anywhere for some time now. The Anywhere Office improves the work-life balance, promotes health and job satisfaction and facilitates the integration and everyday working life of employees with severe disabilities.

The "B.Our Shop" run by BAUR trainees has been offering inexpensive sample items and BAUR stuff for employees since 2019. A team of 15 trainees organizes the store independently and carries out fundraising campaigns and sustainability projects, among other things.

The BAUR Group promotes the health of its employees through various measures. These include regular eye tests, annual flu vaccinations and sports activities such as tennis, bowling and yoga. In addition, keynote speeches and workshops on mental health are offered, including the "Stop the Stigma" series of talks to raise awareness of mental illness.

The BAUR Group has been part of the Otto Group for 25 years, which means a close connection to Hamburg. The partnership began in 1997, when BAUR found a strong partner in the Otto Group. This cooperation enabled BAUR to strategically realign itself and utilize synergies in various areas. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary, the successful and value-oriented cooperation was celebrated.

Our beekeeper Lukas has been looking after the five BAUR bee colonies since 2017. His tasks include looking after the honeycombs, breeding new queens and harvesting honey. Last year, he harvested around 17 kg of honey per colony. Our bees produce blossom honey, summer honey and forest and blossom honey.

Our service providers - BFS Baur Fulfillment Solutions, empiriecom, BAUR Studios and BAUR Retail Media - offer versatile and flexible solutions. Whether for products, customers, online presence or logistics, they adapt to specific requirements and deliver customized solutions.

Parcels have been shipped from our logistics locations since 1925. The logistics process begins with incoming goods, where goods are sorted into the warehouse. The ordered items are then assembled, packed and provided with shipping labels. The parcels are sorted and loaded in the outgoing goods department. The returns department checks and packs returned items for reshipment.

In the BAUR Group staff restaurant, there are three dishes to choose from every day: "Regional", "Around the world" and "Green Selection", including vegetarian options and a salad bar. One dish always includes a small salad and dessert. Thursdays are traditionally Currywurst Day, which is much appreciated by employees.
